When Bangor Pennsylvania resident Bill "The Dream" Weaver made the decision to get into auto racing he knew the big full sized racers were not within his financial reach. Looking into alternative sources he found a spec racer that was becoming the rage at many area tracks.

The car is called a Slingshot and is built by Speedway Entertainment, The brainchild of racer Rich "Toby" Tobias. This 40HP Briggs and Stratton Powered mini modified fits the bill for many racers.

Weaver has found much success as both a driver and owner since entering the world of Slingshot racing. Bill now follows the Slingshot by Tobias tour schedule with his teammate Cody Kline. 2010 will see both Weaver & Kline looking to win the National Championship title.
